Cartella is a brand designed to propel women into higher levels of professional success, and solid individuality with a positive mentality to inspire a confident and diverse approach to workwear that is made to be worn in more than just an occupational setting.  

Cartella in Italian means portfolio, a portfolio of womenswear to help enhance a woman's portfolio of work. The brand strives to make space for all women to be more diverse, fashion forward, colorful, and a little less conservative in a more corporate role. The designs thus far and moving forward are pieces that are versatile and can move from work to weekend or evening activities seamlessly, along with some wild cards here and there, because why not? 

Beginning in luxury retail on Madison Avenue at fashion houses such as Ralph Lauren, Givenchy, and Prada, I gained the knowledge and know how of fabric quality, garment construction, tailoring, styling, and much more. When I was ready for a change I decided to go into the world of luxury real estate and I quickly discovered not only the lack of diversity in women’s backgrounds but also the lack of diversity in women’s office wear, Cartella aims to change that. The real estate setting gave me a little more freedom to dress how I liked. I always looked different but was consistently well received. I believe presentation is everything and can further you professionally especially as a woman of color if you're comfortable and confident in your attire each day. 

I also believe that representation in the work place is very important. Being different and standing out can be intimidating, although empowering at the same time and so the Cartella brand was born in August of 2020. I provide a different way of looking at the work wardrobe by making sure that it is indeed working in many ways for the woman wearing it. I will showcase women of all different backgrounds being wonderfully successful in their professional roles and also thriving outside of the workplace. I am very excited for the future of Cartella and for all of the women who wear it!
